JEFF MECHLEM
MANAGING DIRECTOR, PAGE
Jeff is an architect and managing director of the Houston office of Page, an international multidisciplinary design firm. He also leads the firm's aviation market and has extensive experience managing a wide range of project types and scales, encompassing aviation, multi-family housing, hospitality, corporate, commercial, and retail facilities. With an emphasis on mixed-use projects, his background includes complex and large-scale projects around the globe such as airport terminals, high-rise structures, campus developments and historical renovations. Jeff graduated from the University of Texas with High Honors, is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and a licensed architect in multiple states. He began his career in Los Angeles with the offices of DiMarzio | Kato Architecture and EYRC Architects prior to moving to Houston and joining Page in 2008. Jeff is a proud alumnus of Leadership Houston (Class XXXIV), an American Leadership Forum fellow, and active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Airports Council International (ACI), American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), CoreNet Global, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Active in community engagement, he currently serves on the board of directors for Target Hunger and Oaks Dads’ Club and coaches youth baseball and football. Although he grew up in the DFW metroplex, Jeff is a proud converted Houstonian and father to two Houston born sons. He and his wife Mindy, also an architect, are thrilled with the opportunities to use their global experiences to contribute to the communities and built environment of our great City of Houston.
