Shavonnah brings two decades of B2B and B2C experience in the technology, energy, aviation, heavy manufacturing, and professional services sectors to her board portfolio. She has experience working with PE-backed firms, privately held organizations, start-ups, and Fortune 500 organizations in America, EMEA, and APAC. Currently, Shavonnah serves as the Founder and CEO of SNR Creative, a boutique marketing and communication firm. At SNR Creative, Shavonnah and her team provide the full range of marketing and communication services to companies of all sizes and backgrounds.
Shavonnah is a skilled public speaker and workshop facilitator and is a highly sought-after instructor at the University of Houston Small Business Development Center (UH SBDC). At the UH SBDC, Shavonnah leads marketing classes, workshops, and 1:1 coaching sessions geared at helping small business owners streamline their marketing functions.
Shavonnah is passionate about community engagement and advocacy. She is currently serving with the Hermann Park Conservancy, Houston Clean City Commission, Houston Police Department’s Independent Oversight Board, UT Health IMM, and SEARCH Homelessness. Additionally, she has established endowments at UT Health and at the University of Arizona. Shavonnah has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas-Houston. As a continuous learner, she also has certificates from the Center for Creative Leadership, Cornell University, and Harvard Business School. Shavonnah is an American Marketing Association (AMA) member and has achieved the Professional Certified Marketer distinction through that organization.
